Frequently Asked Questions
How do you ship orders?
We pack all tiles and slabs in heavy-duty export crates built to European standards. Each crate uses thick timber, internal bracing, corner protection, and wrap to protect the stone from impact and vibration during port handling and sea freight.
Do buyers choose the shipping company?
No. We use a trusted forwarder based in Batangas who has handled stone shipments for years. This avoids delays, incorrect handling, and documentation issues. You receive the forwarder’s details once the order moves into the shipping stage.
Do you handle delivery all the way to the destination?
We handle everything from production up to handover at Batangas Port. Once the shipment is accepted by our forwarder and loaded for export, responsibility moves to the buyer and the buyer’s agents on the other side. This keeps your costs fixed and avoids unexpected fees on our end.
What shipping documents do you provide?
You receive the original Bill of Lading sent by courier. We do not use telex release.
The Bill of Lading is required for the other side to collect the shipment. Final payment must be cleared before we send the originals.
Do you offer insurance?
Insurance is arranged through our forwarder. Most buyers choose marine insurance for sea freight because it covers loss or damage during transit.
Who pays clearance, duty, and taxes in the UK?
The buyer pays import duty, VAT, port handling, and local clearance charges. These costs depend on the buyer’s chosen agent.
Can you send photos or videos before shipping?
Yes. You receive photos during finishing and again when the order is crated and sealed.
Do you supply bulk orders?
Yes. We cut full batches for hotels, developers, wholesalers, and commercial builds. Large orders come from matched blocks to keep pattern and colour consistent.
What sizes do you produce?
Tiles, slabs, steps, counters, cladding, basins, sculptures, and custom pieces. Thickness and finish can be specified.
How long does production take?
Most tile orders take two to five weeks depending on volume. Custom work takes longer.
How do payments work?
You pay 50 percent before production. This covers labour, raw material handling, packing, and the initial work. The balance is due once the order is finished. We ship only after the final payment is cleared and the Bill of Lading is ready.
Is Romblon marble equal to European stone?
Romblon marble is known for high density, clean colour, and strong wear resistance. It compares well with Italian stone and sits above most Turkish material in consistency.
Why hand-finished?
Our workshop uses skilled workers rather than heavy automation. Edges and surfaces are refined by hand. You get a clean, accurate finish with fewer machine marks.
Can buyers visit the quarry or workshop?
Yes, with schedule arrangements.
